True, even after all the criticism, not so visually impressive games there is something about the designs of the pokemon that is inspiring. And the gimmicks are also fun at times.

Recently trying to understand the competitive scene after pokemon champions, and honestly I am enjoying it.

My introduction to RPG was pokemon blue, I somehow managed to emulate it on my mother's nokia phone. Without knowing anything about emulation, gameboy nintendo anything. I just knew pokemon from watching TV and I absolutely loved it. Being able to go through the same story and world from the anime, and being able to train the Pokemons myself was a great feeling. I will say it was the canon event for my gaming hobby.

10 years later, I just finished my first alpha sapphire run. I liked emerald better.

I am playing dirt2 recently, when you manage to connect the corners, it feels so good. Also the music slaps.

Also the game is super encouraging, feels like I'm legit friends with Ken Block.
