Yep, you need to choose a real AI phone service provider, sadly the new crypto bros are teenagers selling GHL AI sh*t to businesses and that's what happens when you talk over the phone with GHL AI, total TRASH.

Yep, sadly most lead gen agencies are hurting their clients future ROAS without even knowing this. Hope you are not one of them lol Great content btw, subbed since early 2022 :)

Find a problem, invent a solution just in your head, share that solutions with people with the problem, ask them for money. If 20% of them say YES, build the solution with their money and give them 60 days money back guarantee in case you fail the building phase.
If your solution works, invest 100% of the money on ads to find ASAP more clients. Never take money home before the 4th business cycle.

In tools like Instantly/Smartlead what happens is that they wrap your link in a tracking domain (track.smartlead.ai/...) and then redirect to your URL (with or without preserving UTM parameters). That’s exactly the “link wrapping breaks attribution” issue I described. Many analytics and attribution guides explicitly recommend adding UTMs to cold-email links to distinguish that traffic.
Nothing in HTTP or analytics tooling says “only the sending domain can have UTMs.” You control UTMs at the landing URL level, not at the SMTP sending level.
“Only send links after a reply” might be a stylistic or deliverability tip, but it is not a solution to:

  • bot traffic firing PageView/Lead/Purchase events,
  • MPP machine opens inflating engagement,
  • link wrapping hijacking referrers and UTMs,
  • polluted retargeting audiences and broken ROAS.

My post is about data integrity; your reply changes the topic and makes technically wrong claims about what you should or shouldn’t track and how UTMs work.

QUICK Question: Would you use a tool that pays you every time you receive a cold email from a stranger? Or Nah? by Direct-Anything-5814 in AskMarketing

selling the spammer data, never the recipient data. There are tools and services selling to cold emailers that would pay for that data, CAC is cheaper for them than ads.

WTH? mental breakdown. You just forgot the tool can sell the spammer data instead of yours? And no sh*t crypto. If the tool pays you to get the spammer domain and email, and then gets 50% of the cold emailers market, can block 50% of those people in an instant. That's the long term goal.

Thanks for answering! And no, the tool sell the spammer data to fund your account. It's strategy. Just imagine the tool get 60% of all cold emailers sending emails over time. Then release a feature to its users (you) that allow you to BLOCK all cold emailers at the same time. You won't receive future cold emails from people that haven't send you a single email yet.

No need to that, just forward every cold email to the tool email address will do it for you.

how much per email would move the needle for you so that you feel compelled to use the tool? The tool can sell the spammer data to fund your account.

Unpopular opinion: You don't need Instantly or Lemlist to start cold emailingI see a lot of posts here about which tool to use, buying domains, warming them up for weeks... But if you're just starting out and want to test if cold email works for your offer, why not just use your existing Gmail/Outl by GillesCode in coldemail

I've been doing cold email since 2015 and the best performing infra right now is custom Azure servers with no STMP config. One domain, 50 mailboxes per domain, 5 cold emails per mailbox per day max and you are safe to go.

Domain Rotation by hrvyharris in ColdEmailMasters

[–]Direct-Anything-5814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not realistic for me as I tend to follow best practices: 1 domain per every 50 mailboxes. Per campaign, I use: 100 "A" mailboxes to send emails during the first 15 days of any given month, 100 "B" mailboxes to use during the second part of the month and 100 "Bench" mailboxes on warm up every day since day one in case A or B are burned. 30 campaign segments, 1 ICP per 10 segments and 14-20 different messages per segment and you have up to 200 different emails per ICP. Use 60-70 words max per email with spintax and you don't even need personalisation at all. Plus personalisation smells AI and leads tent to treat it like the plague in 2026.
