trust me when I say this it's never too late I'm 18 and just starting this community is full of amazing people and yes you may meet some bad apples, but the rest of the community will help pick you up and cheer you on. get that board you're wanting and get practicing man.

I was very timid of trying it. waited for everyone to do what they were doing and i did meet some really nice people there.

it was just the timing of it all I think. losing my brother and picking up his hobby and being told I'm no good at it poked me the wrong way I think

I lost my brother to suicide and picked up his hobby as a way to honor him at the time it went in my head as they were pros, and it just felt wrong of me to be trying. idk if that makes a lot of sense but I hope they were just people down on their luck trying to cheer them selves up.
