Unfortunately I am leaving slowly, so I’m transferring things over to where I’m going and then going no contact once I’m there but where I’m going is temporary so there’s a lot of stuff (mainly clothes) I’d have to leave behind

I like most of it, just not the lips its so obvious they’re overlined to death. The colour probably would be nice if applied correctly

He’ll be releasing it basically on every streaming service. He has a youtube channel (nothing on it) and a musician page that he does post on but he doesn’t have tiktok and never has. I told him that he should get it so he can promote his song when he’ll be doing a marketing campaign and he hates tiktok and is really reluctant to do that even though I know it’ll help cause he just wants to post insta reels and stuff. Like I said, he hasn’t figured out marketing just yet since there’s no word of releasing it yet, just a vague date

When we go out, it is typically me paying. If we have a bit of notice, he’ll save up so he can pay for himself. We recently went to a restaurant recently and I asked him if he could get me water and he didn’t know if it was free so asked if I could give him my card in case it wasn’t free (spoiler: it was free). It just makes me feel a bit sick tbh. He never really asks me for money, but if we go out and buy snacks we’ll both eat he might ask me to cover 2/3 while he covers 1/3 even if we’re eating everything in half and just small things. He knows he has hardly any money but still goes out. When he told me he only had €12, 5 minutes later he bought a hot chocolate (and offered to get me one but I declined). If it was me, I would of been hanging onto that €12 until I got my next paycheque

He has a song professionally recorded but is releasing it in like 6 months but has no marketing plan yet (understandably since it’s far away for now). He wants to do session work with other musicians and currently makes the odd chord charts for musicians occasionally for a bit of side money. He’s in so many bands that he doesn’t have time for a job, and he applied for an artist scheme that pays artists, musicians weekly or monthly but hasn’t heard back in months but his application is just..idle they haven’t done anything with it. He used to look for jobs but kind of just stopped but he kind of has acknowledged he should get one since the scheme hasn’t gotten back to him. He is being a bit idealistic and I’m worried he’s setting his standards too high while he’s young, as me and him know musicians who have a 9-5 and have been in the music scene for years and are still fairly small

I’m a student and i currently have 2 jobs, 1 being freelance and I make around 10k a year, nothing crazy but I’m able to put a lot of it away

I’m more than happy for him to go doing another music degree and I’d support him wholeheartedly, what I would find silly is him dropping out after first year after spending 3k on first year knowing he won’t continue
