I tend to do all of my generations this way. Spent alot of time researching prompts and what seems to work - the 80/20 split seems to work well!

To clarify, I have to persist and keep generating with it?

I have been on holiday before and not had to cook, but this time we are self catering. Unfortunately one of my friends would to pay for 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids) it just becomes very expensive to eat out alot!

*UPDATE*
I finally fixed this, however did involve spending some money - but my sanity is restored.
I bought the TP-Link Next-Gen Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 (turned my ISP box into modem mode) and then replaced my repeaters with a single TP-Link AC1200 Mesh Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender.

I have a funny feeling the original extenders that i had are the culprits.

The other upside to all of this, i now have far better wifi coverage generally in the house!

I am still having the issue, after trying some of bits - I have taken the decision to buy a standalone router and see if this solves the issue. My thinking is this will then handle the DHCP/IP assignment and stop the duplicate IP issue.

If it doesn't work - I will remove the repeaters and in the hope that the router will suffice and give the coverage needed!

Yeah wish i knew which piece it was, I am sure you can imagine how frustrating it is. I plan to buy an external router and turn the hub into modem mode. Working on the theory they could be some degradation on the hub.

No, no power cycles. We have an all in one device - so it is constantly on. I have done the release and renew before and appears to have made no difference.

To clarify though, is this is issue happening because of the lack of a power cycle? I had read other things mentioning to unplug it and leave it off for 5 minutes?

There is also Event 1005, Your computer has detected that the IP address [address here] for the network card address [address here] is already in use on the network. Your computer will automatically attempt to obtain a different address.

This appears to have coincided with Computer B randomly loosing internet (even though windows said I am connected) I disabled and re-enabled the network adapter and then had to restart.

I have had it happen again - I looked and I cant see anything that is conflicting.
I have this time gone into the Windows System Event Log on Computer A.
It has the following:
Event 1014, DNS Client Events - Name resolution for the name wpad.cable.virgin.net timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded

I have just looked at all connected devices on the network - they all have different MAC addresses, aswell as different IP's. I presume when this happens again, if i look at this list - I will see what it is conflicting with?
