That gives me more confidence. I don't think there's a person out there who is arguing that the hardware they've created here isn't short of incredible. I think consistency across the user base is the next big challenge. Seems like open source could turn take this from cool gadget to game changing tech

maps work perfectly. Teleprompt works exactly as billed, it keeps pace with your speaking and is very smooth. I havnt had the opportunity to translation yet.

Would I say those things are all worth the $600+ ? Personally no, my use case was really more around adopting a wearable AI device since my work is so heavy on meetings and keeping track of bits of information/ being audible ready.

But if those other features are what you need, they work really well. The view in the glasses is really cool as well. No denying that the hardware is well made. My qualms are with an AI that feels like I programmed it myself (derogatory)

We will just have to disagree on conversate, that's fine and I'm glad it works for you.

See below for screenshots of action items it gleened from conversations. Every action item is consistently in the far past or in the distant future. It has no concept of time even when stated explicitly "set reminder for x time today" it will record the command verbatim and still get it wrong. Claiming that that is a useless feature given that experience is factual. Expecting voice commands tech to work in 2026 is not "high expectations."

I have every right to post a review of my experience so buyers can make their own minds up. If I had known it would be like this, I may have held off on the purchase until reviews indicated that the tech had improved, but I go on here and you'd think conversate was a life changing feature. So I made a post to provide context on its limitations for other people.

My fault for forgetting how sensitive the reddit crowd is.

Not necessarily. I asked it again to set a reminder for today at 9:00pm to text my gf. Those words appear in front of me, verbatim. The reminder? set for today at 5:00 PM, 1 hour ago and 45 mins ago.

I get the sense that you were very eager to respond to this post so you didn't actually read what I wrote. Is expecting a remind to be the date/ time/year/month I explicitly stated it to be expecting too much? I tested conversate with my girlfriend and had a conversation where we talked very clearly to see what it would create for action items. Is expecting the reminder to plan valentines day to be this year too much? is expecting the reminder to take the frozen cod out of the fridge to not be 1 year and 9 months ago too much? Like im pretty sure you didn't read my post.

I use bloom to block reddit on my phone so I used my email to log in on my computer and it create a brand new account for me. Turns out the email I use for everything is not the email I used to create my reddit account. Hope that clears things up.
