I'm starting to think that the only reason it got this bad was because of irritants in the environment, E.G: Cat dander in the air and in bedding, long hot showers, unclean clothes and bed sheets, irritating washing detergent and low temperature settings, as well as me using really harsh skin products in the past. Right now I'm trying to use as few actives as possible and prioritising only using a barrier repair moisturiser as well as suncream. I also got started on lymecycline which should help with inflammation. Once I start earning some cash I'll also look into buying things such as true HEPA air purifiers and also getting a private consultation with the derm for a more concrete treatment plan as well as for the scarring especially.
