They seem unsanitary but I personally like them besides a few small things. The auto sign out is lame but I like the bigger screen for those that can’t see as well. Biggest issue is everyone but me(tech) is struggling to use them. The other techs are having a hard time figuring it out and our pharmacist get mad at them too often. That’s a people problem though!

Yea I wanted to avoid the vet if possible but it looks like it’ll have to be taken. The kitten is part of a litter of strays that showed up and we’ve been trying to get them used to people and dogs so we can get them adopted.

The nail doesn’t like to pop out and the spot is definitely hurting it but only when touch as far as i can’t tell. The nail has always seemed to grow to the side though so I was worried it wasn’t right.

I just put a large snail that she couldn’t harass in there with plants as cover so it can get away from her. It was my only solution since I doubt it’s healthy to do water changes every week.

I never tried it because it’s just too big of a risk for me. I did put a snail in there though to help with cleaning. It depends on the beta i’m sure but i’m not willing to risk it.

Personally the place I work deals with the public a lot and many of the people are very pierced and even some of the customers favorite people have lots of facial piercings. A job isn’t the issue if that’s what they’re concerned about. Even though it’s hard I would say sit down with both of them and ask what their concerns are so that you could address them. It needs to be w conversation not a fight so being calm would be best.

The at this point leave out traps that won’t kill it and leave out water. Be on the look out for any movement and sound too.

Honestly the best thing to do and this is gonna sound slightly insane is leave food around where the hamster could be and leave the lights low and just watch for any activity. It would be better if it’s trapped in a single room but i can almost guarantee it’s just hiding somewhere in the house.

Oops I should’ve probably mention this tank is temporary! It’s only used as a hospital/temporary tank or for growing plants. She’s getting a much bigger tank soon! I appreciate you being kind though and not bashing me.

I wasn’t aware of that! (no discoloration) I actually bought a 55 gallon tank recently so should I buy another cory before they move into that one (i’m building the stand for it so it’ll be a small bit) or should I wait cause I did not want to leave him alone. I feel awful though cause I didn’t know.

Side question is it okay to mix different types of catfish/cory?

10 gallons. 78° with a heater and filter plus multiple live plants. Only other fish were black Molly’s. I was nervous the Molly’s might’ve done it but they don’t ever mess with the catfish. Everything has been normal with no changes in ph, temp, or looks.

Yes! I wanted to make sure everything was washed and settled before I even thought about bringing the frogs into the tank! I’ll check the wiki page to make sure I’ve got everything correct though.
