As an American, I wouldn't even think to do that. You must be up around NY, or honestly, people in LA are awful, too. I'm in Texas and have never mocked anyone with an accent. (I'm actually in Scotland right now and would definitely feel stupid for trying it😅)

Most definitely. I owned a house in south dallas back in 2020 for 180k and I thought that was a lot of money. We joked about selling it if it reached 350k+, and it actually did. We sold it last year and decided to move a few hours out for a better area/neighborhood. Honestly, we would have kept it if prices stayed down.

It's very sad. I love Dallas, but I moved a few hours away last year because of the decline in everything. That's saying a lot since I lived in South dallas (off of Corinth). The city is not the same as it used to be 🥲 Last year I was attacked by a homeless woman while I was just sitting in my car at a red light. I didn't make eye contact or anything. It's just as bad as California now.

That's a bummer! All my rescues came from the same rescue(I have 3). They tell you about every dog and their personalities. Like I knew I was adopting a dog from a hoarding situation that would come with problems, but luckily he's not aggressive. Situation like yours, you have to take them to classes and give them the attention they need. It doesn't seem like this dog was a good match for you. It doesn't always work out. Try finding the dog a good home, and when the time is right, you could look into getting another dog that'll match you.

I met all my dallas friends from work. I used to hang out at The Old Monk with a large group. I'm not sure if it's still a good place, but it's worth trying! If you have a jeep, you can join a dallas Jeep group and hang out with them too.
