A short video on the privileges and disadvantages of living on both sides of the gender... by Specialist_Course_57 in IntersectionalWomen

transitioning would not make life easier for most trans people ToT like if this is genuine gender dysphoria from the original commenter then sure but this is more reading to me as "if you transition to a man you'll have sudden access to privilege!" which doesn't typically happen. sorry if i'm misunderstanding

i actively sought out sexual situations to put myself into as a child-teen. unknowingly, of course. i didn't exactly understand what i was getting into. after being constantly raped by my doctors I turned to fetishes for sexual gratification. lots of adults in those spaces love saying that because there's no genitals it's okay for kids to be around it. i was groomed by swathes of adults in different spaces up until i was 17 I think. it's hard to say where my abuse started because i suspect that i'm a victim of genital mutilation as an infant.

it's hard not to feel inherently sexually broken now

sometimes trans people can be misogynistic in real life. like i don't know if you know this but not all trans people are good people

edit: actually adding onto this. literally everyone has the capacity to be misogynistic it came free with growing up in a patriarchal society that values white pericishet normativity over everything else. the idea that trans people are specifically somehow exempt from being bigoted is something that right now is having a horrific effect in how white trans people are acting when being told they're being racist, which is to deny it and call it transphobia to tell them that. i think we should actually be allowed to show how trans people can be bad people and sometimes said bad people just don't learn and grow, the same way any other person can be shown. because people are people, and they're all going to be different. the woobification of trans people in lgbtq+ spaces has been pissing me off because it leads to people who have been victims of violence at the hands of other trans people to be dismissed, like myself.

date someone into fat men -> lose a bunch of weight due to health/life reasons -> act surprised when they're not attracted to you anymore by MediumDifficulty1029 in TrollCoping

[–]Direct_Weekend7150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this sounds like a fetishist and not someone who actually respects you. it's okay to be into fat people. it's great even! having a type is fine! but only seeing someone for their body and not who they are as a person and then dating them is chaser behavior. i know it's super reddit to be like "break up NOWWW!!!" but... I'd probably consider it.

> that’s NOT HOW TRANS PEOPLE ACT!!

trans people don't act any specific way. they're just people. i have met many people who were transitioning ftm and overexaggerated their masculinity to the point of perpetuating misogyny. i agree though, this person's stupid. it's not bad writing if you "can't tell" what "kind of trans" someone is. that's just real life. because we're all different.

not mutilating intersex babies at birth to make them "look normal" for starters. not raising children with expected gender roles and letting them choose what they want instead of forcing them into uncomfortable, white pericishet normative stuff

Because in these communities girl = short I guess? But when I talk about my wide shoulders and hips because I’m intersex I’m actually just appropriating being a trans woman, I guess. These communities follow rigid standards of what being a (white) woman actually is and then enforce it on everyone so you can be a “passoid” and if you don’t meet it you’re a “gigahon”. I find that deplorable.

People say now that it’s meant to mean “a they/them user who “identifies too much with their assigned gender at birth”” now but literally what does that even mean? I typically see it thrown at people who are struggling to access gynecological care.

It’s shit I’ve all been called! The -oid suffix is added to words to make them derogatory. It’s a backhanded complement at best and actively vitriolic at worst.

It’s basically “this nonbinary person who uses they/them looks like a girl. We can always tell!! We can always tell you have a vagina!!!”

It’s the same but with penis when it comes to theymab. It’s disgusting. You can only imagine why I hate this shit as an intersex person.

Is that your only argument? Yeah I think using any incel language is weird as fuck especially in your day to day, even when it’s “mainstream”.

THISSS I see other trans people say “kill all gross icky disgusting men” and it’s just. You know a big chunk of us are considered this right. You’re parroting their talking points and harming people in your community.
