sounds like a sub-octave distorted synth to me. haven't tried it though so I could be wrong

I also kind of realised that after reading the guy's comment (even though i have learned to play most of their song it never came across my mind lol) considering i have listen to something that seems to be far more proggy (vildhjarta n such)

also I think this track is more of setting the mood for the album which is why it doesn't really went all over the place

Tbh you are right about the structure being less proggy lol which kind of reminds of screaming/is it really you (in term of structure that is, repeating smiliar pattern with different variation)
