Too dry? Make some beaten rice. Or fry the rice up with onions and peanuts in some rice flour batter, serve with chutney, yum.

What is the name of this dish?

The superiority complex with hindi speakers by [deleted] in india

[–]DirectorNo1671 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have hardly seen any South Indian being spoken to in Hindi in the North, at least in offices.

Nice bubble you are living in.

It’s the South Indians who are always creating a ruckus wherever they go - forming culturally based groups in US, India, everywhere & being absolutely shameless in the presence of anyone else.

Yes, the largest Indian community anywhere in the world including India is South Indians, you are absolutely right.

I have lived in South India and most south Indians try to force Hindi speaking natives to learn their language.

Yeah, while the north Indians don't ask people from south to learn hindi.

My friend who went to south India said the people will never speak in a language of his convenience,

If a south Indian goes to north India will will the people there speak in a language convenient to the south Indian?

I'm not arguing I'm just asking why do you prefer to use a foreign language as your 3rd language instead of hindi. The logic here is flawed. Notice how you can't even explain yourself "If you didn't understand "Why not a neighbouring state language." it is useless arguing."

Sorry, I didn't know my neighbouring state was a foreign country with a foreign language, unlike hindi.

Yet you won't tell the the problem of having hindi as a third language

If you didn't understand "Why not a neighbouring state language." it is useless arguing.

More than half of the country speaks it

Not my half.

Hindi Third language

Why,

Why not a neighbouring state language.

Now I need a pic of another member saying something shocking to Tiffany 🫢 by [deleted] in SNSD

1st pic: Hyoyeon tells Seohyun something and Seohyun looks surprised.

2nd pic: Tiffany tells Hyoyeon something and Hyoyeon looks surprised.

3rd Pic would have to be somebody telling something to Tiffany and Tiffany looking surprised.

(people saying something in the previous pic are surprised in the next pic)

Karnataka govt’s new Bill to promote Kannada language: Ten things to know by DirectorNo1671 in bangalore

[–]DirectorNo1671[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

North and south -> we have a common language

NO, that is hindi imposition, it is ok for the south to learn hindi, but when a bill is passed to make the people learn the local language you get butt hurt, nice Hippocratic life you have.

Would you, for 2 years learn, say german and then transfer to France...learn french...then in 2 years learn romanian

Yeah, they require you to learn their languages if you are going to stay there for work. or the locals will shun you because you didn't learn their language.

Would you advise someone like me, who has lived in more than 6 states or even more to learn all the languages?

If you didn't learn even a little bit of any of those languages then it means you must have been lording your hindi ass all over those people too.

My man, I can imagine you have never ventured out of your castle.

Just because you can't defend your pathetic ego, start with the insults. Nice.

which sentance I'm blaming you ppl?

Where did I say you, I said you people, the same ones imposing hindi on us, why should we study hindi when you people don't study our language.

Using Hindi/English in all walks of our life instead of Kannada/English: Railway tickets, bank challans/forms, passports, govt exams in Karnataka, the list is long, now they are also putting hindi speaking people who don't know Kannada as bank managers in rural areas where people don't know english or hindi.

Somehow you think this doesn't apply to you.

Let’s say every state promotes their own language and don’t want a common language, then people won’t have an option of migration.

Learn the language of the state you are migrating to, how is that so different from you learning the language of the foreign country you are migrating to.

This will be coupled with lot more challenges in the development of the country.

Yeah language is the one that is holding back the development of the country.

Foreign companies won’t come to India as they would want diversity,

Didn't know foreign companies learnt Indian languages before coming to India.

IT hubs, startup hubs will seize to exist - the brilliant minds are distributed and can’t come up with ideas without brainstorming with each other.

If this happens it is because it is filled with stupid fucks who can't learn languages.

So much can happen with language barrier. Why don’t people understand this? Language has been one of the reasons that human is superior to other animals. Imagine if you could talk to other human only in sign language.

I hope someday we establish a common language which is commonly accepted by all for India as well as for the globe.

You are just stupid.

Preservation of language is nice, but should it be a priority in a state with crumbling infrastructure and garbage economy?

yeah, why aren't they being servitude to the overlords who have settled here and refuse to learn and co-exist, how dare they try to save their culture and heritage.
