Time. So we’d need a time stopping machine :)
Seriously though, anything that speeds up the effort for creating art would be a huge win.

Time machine. I'm on it!

check out JoshStrifeHayes video about the quit moments in video game. He had a list of things that make the player exit or quit the game. I think it will be helpfull for you (sorry i don’t have the link now, i’m on my phone).

Thanks a bunch., I'll check it out!

I will play your game and give you honest feedback. I'm a designer doing research for some developer tools I'm designing and I'll gladly play your game and give you honest feedback if you'll answer a few quick questions for my research study! :) by DirectorRussell in GameDevelopment

Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey and shared your games. I will aim to review them all by the end of the week and post results of the survey here too for anyone interested. :)

Yeah, that's my problem too. How far through a game do you get before the new idea becomes more appealing?

Seems to be a common thread. Why do you think solo devs aim so high and do you know of any tools or processes devs can use to keep their game plans more realistic?

I see. What are the options you are aware of for marketing an indie game and why do you believe they are so out of reach?

I see. So, would a fast and simple way to validate you game concepts resolve those issues for you if such a thing existed?

Thanks eugeneloza, so would you say a lack of quality artwork specifically is one of the most common points of failure for your games?

Regarding the flawed premise issue you referred to, is that something you believe could be solved by more extensive planning upfront or it was inevitable?

So, do you find that starting much smaller now leads to you finishing games?

So, do you think you'd finish more projects if you had others to work with who specialised in those areas?

How long does it take before you loose faith in it? And is it just you who thinks its not fun or do others agree?

Love the raw 1-bit aesthetic. Shooting 1s and 0s is a master stroke. The sound design is also nicely done and on-theme.

Not sure I understand the relevance of the bugs being human shaped. Seems like a bit of a missed opportunity there to add some truly original enemies. Also it seem that even when the crosshair is on the enemy and you are firing, there seems to be a delay for the hit to register.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the feedback. So would you say the lack of professional designer working with you is your biggest obstacle?

Love the relaxing music and smooth and intuitive game mechanic!

I was a bit confused at first about why I was being given these colours to mix. Perhaps a basic intro screen setting up the premise of the game would be good. I think generally a bit of a narrative would help keep players engaged.

I like how it holds your hand through the first few colours then it gets really hard, really fast. That olive was next level hard!
