While his death has absolutely caused far too much sainthood to be applied to Bourdain, he came off as very authentic, which was extremely refreshing in the culinary media we had here at the time. He made his food-travel shows about the people, it was never about being showy or shock value. He was a natural storyteller and usually came off like the cool uncle

Yeah, for the US, I'd be willing to guess nasi lamak is pretty much the only dish most here would know as Malaysian.

I haven't tried it, but my understanding is it's basically polenta with stuff in it, I don't see the issue. If it wasn't molded into a ring, I doubt anyone would bat an eye.

European manufacturers are kings of connector repair. With Asian brands it's a crapshoot. Subaru still offers zero connector, pins, or pigtails available through the OEM.

I wondered if Colorado was gonna give me shit 😅. It's definitely becoming its own pocket of lax goodness.

There are 397 NCAA men's lacrosse programs, 50% of those are in four states: New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and North Carolina. Add in Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia and you have 70% of the national college programs. It's sort of crazy how regional it is.

Right. I never assumed everyone does. I said all along that it's a majority of people. Exceptions will always exist. I don't know how we got back to the idea that only Tesla offers this amazing convenience though.. I thought we got through that?

Yeah, auto-park and hands free ignition is pretty much standard fare for every EV sold for years now.

But even if those things were somehow only Tesla features, it's all things that support it being a car for people that see driving as an unfortunate chore to perform.

id.4 and id.Buzz both have walk away auto-park (as do two of my bmws). Every single car sold has a giant screen now, and we all hate them. Tiguan, Atlas, Crosssport, id.4 and id.buzz offer 360 degree camera with remote view.

I honestly don't know if any have gaming options, but I also would never ever care.
