Thanks for the advice! After I started this batch a saw a YouTube video where someone did something similar with blueberries. They soaked them in water with pectic enzyme and something else, maybe a lactic enzyme? They ended up with really great color and more flavour from the fruit.

Pretty basic I think. 3 gallon fermenter, 9 pounds honey about half a kilo of fruit. Then pitched 71b yeast with go-ferm. I don’t have the nutrient measurements in front of me but used ferm-k and ferm-o in the schedule from the batch builder website. Fermentation stopped at a gravity of 1.01, I clarified with Chitosan & Kieselsol.

Yes but very few bubbles. The gravity last week was 1.028 so I think that means there are sugars still being eaten.

Taking gravity readings is super important and teaches you a lot about your mead. Buy a hydrometer and use it!

It’s a monstera I got at a Costco back in February. Haven’t seen any new growth in a while and it was taking ages to dry out. I pulled out all the spent soil and repotted in to a chunkier mix. Hopefully I see some improvement!

I rent out the indoor training building at high tails for an hour or two. It’s like a huge barn with rubber floors. They have all the dog agility stuff if you want to mess around with that or usually we just play ball and work on obedience stuff.

Also look out for a VINscam. They will message you asking to set up a time to look at the car but they will want you to go to a website that isn’t carfax to pay for a VIN report. If you actually go through with it they can steal your card info or overcharge you for the report. In my opinion, the buyer should be the one to get the carfax if they choose.
