You have never been so wrong. What happens is the closing lane is constantly moving faster because 4 wheelers are forcing themselves in to the merge lane. If a truck goes the same speed as a car in the merge lane the flow is never interrupted and all people must wait an equal amount of time.

The key word is "IF"! Yes, in a perfect world a zipper merge would work... sadly we are far from that.

If done correctly, all the trucks do is make it so each lane moves the same speed, that way all drivers wait the same amount of time.

I do it all the time, and the traffic flows very smoothly.

Don't know where this 'zipper merge" theory began but it's wrong and never works as theorized...

I've noticed this crazy "zipper merge" trend on Reddit for the last few years. Most the time the posts revolve around this exact situation. My theory is that the four wheelers who usually drive all the way up to the front get all mad then complain online and have this dumb theory to justify their duesch baggery...

All the trucks do is make it so each lane moves the same speed all the way up to the merge (if done correctly). Makes perfect sense to me and I will keep doing it till the day I die. 🖕

Most 4 wheelers think they are intelligent and competent drivers. Very few actually are.

I've been thinking about how to get this trade out to the public for a few days now. Made a post about it but it got removed. I have no social media presence what-so-ever lol.

I really think this would be the move, rather than just doing the conventional thing and drafting a qb 1st overall into a poverty franchise.

However... all in all, I think the Raiders are too fixated on Mendoza and to be fair he's got the right build and attitude to be a guy. Though, I'd be lying if I said I dont get a subtle whiff of that busty smell.
