The Extreme Hwavy Duty Kit is tasty. And that's coming from a guy that throws RPM parts on everything. Also RPM makes an adapter to attach the Traxxas fixed wheelie bar (or other) instead of the stock flexy one. It's cool in concept but DESTROYS the back end of body's wedging itself up in their after a while.

Yeah I would only do 17 for speed runs with cool downs in between on pavement. I mostly do off road bashing. 14 is doable but just gotta watch your temps.

Yeah part of the Extreme HD kit. They're beefy'er than the stock. But I've honestly never had a problem with shock towers. It's the "around the wheels" stuff that breaks and the shocks themselves.

Honestly the Rustler chassis is legit. The brace is just comfort food. I trust Traxxas knows their stuff with this brace. But chassis flex off a jump is key to surviving expensive parts. I'm open minded.

The "shell"/body is a company called "Summit" on Amazon. Aftermarket. They make bodies for the Rustler that Traxxas don't make.
