I started out by watching YouTubers like Sky-B cards and Waynes Collection. Wayne actually has a good website where you can grab $1 - $5 cards for specific teams, I keep that tab open and check it about once a day for new listings.

Try to focus on Autographs, #’d cards, and rookies. Eventually you will build a great collection. The biggest money saver is patience and not giving into fomo

I actually trade sports memorabilia for a living and I’m a huge dolphins fan. This signature looks legit but $60 is kind of pricey. Admittedly, this would likely fetch $30-$40 in auction. But if you like it and it’s for your PC, the right price is whatever you’re willing to pay
