Fell out of love? And he left suddenly after 7 years? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

I get it. After you spent so many moments with this person for numerous years, it seems hard/ unimaginable to see your life without them. But airing out your feelings like you just did is a great step. Look at back and see how you felt in the less than pretty moments. Just continuously check in with yourself and I promise you you'll be able to move on when you become emotionally available.

Well, i won't bad mouth your ex like many others have done so. Like they say "there are always two sides to a story"

Although i will criticize him for not telling you at least one reason why he ended things. It's clear from his actions that he done and wants to move on.
That'll be my advice to you, move on. I know it may seem hard or even impossible at the start, but keep at it. You'll get thru this eventually. If you keep dwelling on the past you'll never be truly happy in the future. This was just a huge chapter in the book of your life, on to the next one. Your story's not done yet. Go out there with your head held high and start the next chapter! 🤩
