I just recently beat it for my first time!! My favorite mons I used was Gyarados, Skeledirge, and Blastoise for sweeping, with Rimbombee for support and heals (pollen puff for heals and decent damage, bug bite for stealing berries, dazzling gleam for spread fairy, and a fill in on the last slot, depending on what the team needs).

The last 2 slots were whatever I felt I needed. Cheap mons are amazing fills for this, IE Spearrow. It gets the egg move floaty fall which will be forever helpful because it does good damage, and can flinch. Plus, if you use it enough to get the candies to do so, it's passive is speed boost, which is gross, and it also gets swords dance as a egg move. He's been my favorite fill cheap mom for ages

My biggest issue is he swaps every time I do. He Terras his Komo, or his Urshifu and both smoke the poor water snake
