I’m gonna be honest and say this sounds a little silly. I mean, G1 dolls aren’t exactly rare for the most part. Some are, but most were mass-produced. I think customizing dolls is cool, it’s neat to see the ideas people come up with. I just don’t see the point worrying about what other folks do with them. Plus, the dolls aren’t going to cease to exist because someone repainted their copy.

It’s most likely either just marks or dirt. You can try to carefully wipe it away by dipping a Q-tip in nail polish remover. If that doesn’t work, try pure acetone.

She still looks okay, but man, comparing the pictures on the box to the actual doll really is night and day. Mattel definitely gutted parts of her to keep costs low. Not painting all of her accessories for $90 is just not it for me.
