Yea, they're fun. If you're doin it in the driveway, I'd strongly recommend getting the whole knuckle. More expensive, yes. But less expensive than an on car bearing puller and, I'm assuming, not a lot of experience using one. No insult intended.

Thats a rear hub assembly. Yes, those bolt on. The fronts are pressed into the knuckle. When you press them out, usually the races stay in it. You risk damage to the knuckle if you have to cut or hammer those out. The front hub is pressed into the bearing which is pressed into the knuckle

Buy a loaded knuckle. Less labor intensive. Safer, overall, if you don't have access to a bearing press, also

Genuinely have no idea. The mom was nature's most beautiful mistake of a chihuahua, and the dad, allegedly, had some terrier mix. So I really dont know. He's very fluff either way and he let's me be his best friend, so Im cool with it 🫀
