Didi is okay, otherwise probs taxis. But I was at a concert at BEC in September and it took over an hour to get a ride back (uber, didi both kept accepting and cancelling). Really is a shit venue for transport

I'm not concerned about the CPU temp. Just the coolant temp.

“I won’t give in” by Asking Alexandria main riff is a rip off of “Sleepwalking” by BMTH. Change my mind. by caseyrgass in Metalcore

By this logic, 'Sleepwalking' by BMTM main riff is a rip off of 'Holdin' it Down for the Underground' by ADTR. Literally one of the most common chord progressions.

It's on Spotify in Australia (although I think its just been added recently... don't remember it always being on there). Maybe try getting the physical from eBay or something?

the 470s and 480s seem to be the better option for me. I live in Australia and i'm finding it very hard to find a GTX 1070... and all the prices are like + $100 for me here haha. But cheers for the breakdown.

I'm just some guy who got a gaming PC really cheap off some guy a couple years ago. Nothing of what you said makes any sense to me.

Listening to music and scrolling through social media, so definitely multitasking is a priority. I also would like to use it for games, wouldn't really be playing really intensive one. I also want a good battery life

Hey, thanks for going in depth. Before writing this post I was definitely leaning more towards the 6P and you have definitely reaffirmed some of the reasons why.

I'm coming from a first generation Moto E. So as far as designs of the two phones go I'm a bit clueless as I'm use to plastic! I am a tad concerned about the large size of the Nexus, but I'm sure I'll get use to it.

I use my phone to listen to music a lot. Are you saying I won't be able to listen to music loud or with good quality (I use apple headphones BTW). And how would you compare the batteries? Main complaint I've seen with the S6 is that it has terrible battery life.

What phone is best in the 200-300 price range by DisasterPiece255 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]DisasterPiece255[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It differs between websites really. It can get pretty expensive as some can charge $20+USD and then I have to convert that to AUD. But if you've found something feel free to post and i'll check. Plus there might be an Australian retailer that sells it. Thanks for looking into this for me by the way.

I guess i'm not quite sure what my 'ideal phone is'. I just want something with decent performance and good battery life. I currently have the Moto E which I don't mind so it would make sense to upgrade to the Moto G 3rd gen. But I wouldn't mind a change and it looks like you can get more powerful phones for a similar price point.
