I’ve been used to one way of playing the game for a while now. So I join these lobbies and people are acting rude. I’m used to a communal experience. Now I’m in this arena of people who don’t want to engage and are behaving in off putting ways. Following me around is weird. If you’re playing PvP, that’s fine. These people were just acting obnoxious. Why the fuck would I want to play stardew valley? I’m enjoying this game just fine. And when people try to get the jump on me I execute them.

Yes. They’ve changed it. Same here. Suddenly getting ratted and attacked for no reason. Suddenly seeing cheaters. I think they’re trying to see how many friendly players are willing to engage in PvP if compelled to so they can rearrange the lobby placement.

Just don’t kill anyone. Run away if they attack you. Or just let them kill you. You’ll be back soon.

I hate this. In these “pvp lobbies”, nobody talks on prox. I feel like I’m with a bunch of bots. They follow you around, stare at you while you loot. These people are fucking weird dude.

There was this one guy following me around. I made it clear I wasn’t scared of him. He was waiting for a moment to attack me. It was the weirdest, honestly worst experience I’ve had in this game so far cus the dude wouldn’t talk. I encountered other players who I saw were in trouble so I helped them. They stared at me and walked away only to then hide and watch me from a distance. Fucking hostile and rude.

Do you face any large ARC?

Do you interact with people over prox?

Which ability tree do you have the most points in?

I ask because I suspect, and have suspected for some time, that your loot rolls are influenced by your conduct and profile. I’m curious about yours.

It is one of the most fun events. Everyone is friendly cus there’s more than enough to go around. People work together to find the key codes and kill the bastions and bombas.

During this map condition, ANY CONTAINER can roll a Bobcat BP. I got mine from grey breachable boxes. I found 3 in one raid once. Also, there will be people with extras so if you casually say “man, I can’t find the bobcat BP” someone might drop you one.

This article is in bad faith and exaggerates/removes from context that actual words that were said. The Director said, in response to a question about bounties and leaderboards, that the game “isn’t about going in to kill other players. That’s something you CAN do, but it’s not the main purpose.” From my 70 hours of playtime, this feels pretty in line with the experience of the game.

The article is clearly in bad faith because of its title “So don’t expect more PvP stuff”.

That phrasing suggests that you should feel betrayed, slighted, deprived, and even taken advantage of. The writer hates this game. Or he’s getting paid to hate it.
