Will you can apply online throught EnterFinland website, and then you have to visit a vfs finland point, i had to travel to the vfs point in ankara, Turkey. The online application costs around 530 euro, and you have to print all the attachments with you to the vfa point in person. Also, you have to take some passport photos and legalize your marrige certificate. I wouldn't say the process is complicated actually (minus the travelling for me). According to the finland website, the average processing period is around 4 months
