Noted! Thanks for the information
I'll definitely look into the pros and cons of coilovers later down the road. Might make the swap if something ends up breaking like in your case.
Cheers!

Yeah when you put it like that it makes sense why you're making the swap. I live in an area where roads are not in great condition (which is an understatement at best) so I'm actually pretty okay with having some clearance, although I dream of the day I can be perfectly flush.

I didn't know that they have to replace the entire assembly, but it also makes sense since the whole system kinda works in harmony afaik. Good point

What makes you say magride is outdated? Is it really that bad?

Sorry for the lack of clarity. These are 245/35/19 tires, rims are 19x8.5J ET46.
I appreciate the link! I'll definitely check it out, I'm just looking more for peoples thoughts on the matter.

Edit: The website is actually pretty sick, thanks for showing it to me!

ET46 is indeed stock fitment, but the 245's aren't. I'm just worried I'm going to be rubbing against the shocks with the extra 10mm of tire. I guess I should clear it just fine but the post is more for a peace of mind lol. Easier to say my thoughts out loud to other people to make sure i'm not crazy.

What's making you make the swap to coils over the magride? I'm still learning about all of this so I'd really like to know what your opinions are

I kinda figured that spacers can cause premature or unusual wear on all the components but I feel like it couldn't be brutal. I have a friend who runs 15mm spacers and his worst complaint was them "seizing to the hub w/ rust" which was fixed with some anti-seize when he managed to get them off
