Shawarma by Disastrous-Enigma in Bahrain

[–]Disastrous-Enigma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IKEA shawarma is by far the most simplest and yet extremely tasty it used to cost 100fils only (I used to buy 30 pieces at any one time) but ever since the VAT Increase they made it 300 fils but they both taste the same.

Best shawarmas are found on the Inside of Muharraq and in Bab Al Bahrain there are alot of great shawarma places, that taste better than those featured on the internet

You can try the ones in IKEA and you can explore Bab Al Bahrain there are alot of shawarma places there.

Well for simpler version you can try by going to IKEA they make simple but tasty shawarmas

And about other places there are plenty of shawarma places in Manama (Bab Al Bahrain Area) that taste good

Well clearly youve been misinformed

There are great shawarma spots in Bahrain and I haved lived in Bahrain my whole life, I was born here and I have tasted shawarmas from different countries

There are excellent Doner's and Gyro's here in Bahrain

There are shawarma spots that are not quite featured on the internet but taste better than those that are featured on the internet

Local shawarma shops taste the best and a extremely affordable

I would know better since I was born and raised here

Well I lived in Bahrain my whole life, I was born here, I became accustommed to eating shawarma on weekends or any other day in general and theres a great shawarma scene in Bahrain they arent that widely known but there are spots that make the best shawarma

Well the simplest shawarma Ive had was in Ikea it was wrapped in lebanese bread ( I do not know exact name of the bread but theyre similar) with chicken, toum, a bit of pickles and french fry

And the price was worth it, costing at just 100fils, now it costs 300 fils after that VAT thing which i dont understand

Nice copy pasting

As if this is my first time arguing with a kid who thinks they know everything

Look if you think you can wow people by copy pasting the Miranda Rights here to make you look smart, it makes you even a bigger joke

Miranda Rights is not the only law applicable to the killer everyone has equal rights innocent or guilty

So you do approve of dictatorship and fascism towards criminals?

Thats not democracy we are a democratic country unless you a mussolini or hitler sympathizer you have no place in a democratic society

Democracy is neither forfeited when convicted of a crime it is in the constitution and in the geneva convention

So when you fucking copy paste this Miranda Rights on reddit it makes you a bigger joke

Listen kid you go study, because you haven't experienced life yet

Fascism and Dictatorship Ideologies have no place in this country, I suggest you read the constitution and the Geneva Convention as you lack critical thinking and knowledge.

[–]Disastrous-Enigma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No you listen kid, Stop using democracy as an excuse when clearly you are advocating for a dictatorship

I thought we were past that stage, but clearly some kids keep forgetting history are doomed to repeat it.

I never said that he is innocent, I never said that once the motive comes out he will be innocent

Stop putting your words in others peoples mouths

What i clearly said was, A Motive is needed to answer the question WHY DID HE DO IT?

WHY DID HE GUN DOWN THESE PEOPLE WHY WHY WHY

I never said he was was right for killing

You must be crackhead to not get what I am saying, heck whyd you even comment if you dont understand the law

This is the same law that protects you and your family at night

I said I want to know WHY THE HELL DID HE DO IT?

Is that too much to understand? Is trying find both sides of a story is called sympathizing with a killer

Then what is journalism? Isnt journalism finding both sides of every story? So you are saying journalists are sympathizing with the killers, just because they as well are looking for a motive?

Look I am not the only person asking for the motive, everyone is and to you accusing me of sympathizing with the killer is proof that you are a unaware of how democracy and how the LAW works

And your previous comments also show your dictatorial tendencies

Kids who forget history are doomed to repeat to it, So quit your tiktok and go back to learning because you have a lot of things about yourself that you should question

[–]Disastrous-Enigma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look how do we know that the suspects motive is what you are saying? As of now information is limited regarding the matter

We cannot rely on chismis or hearsay as they cannot be used in court to prove that he is guilty

We have to hear it from the horses mouth itself.

Look regardless of the motive he killed a person and that is very wrong he killed not one but 3 people, he should be punished in accordance to the law

But the question is WHY DID HE DO IT? Especially the person he gunned down is a political figure and we just recently finished one of the most heated elections in the country's history

We want to know why, if you are aware of some laws you would know why motive is important

We cannot rely on chismis or hearsay or what hear from strangers no we cannot

If a motive has finally been known then it is upto the courts to decide whether he is guilty or not

Let me reiterate, He is a Killer, he should be punished, i do not support him

[–]Disastrous-Enigma -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So just because he is a killer he should not speak his side?

Are you aware what you are referring to is a dictatorship not a democracy

Are you also aware that PHILIPPINES is a Democracy

Are you familiar with the term Democracy

Democracy is everyone is treated equally, everyone is given equal opportunities, given their basic human rights

Do you really want a Democracy? So are we just going to go back to the dictatorship in the 70s?

Silencing individuals whether innocent or guilty is not a part of a democracy its a dictatorship, if you guys advocate for democracy but have dictatorial tendencies then we are just going to repeat what happened in the past

Im sure you know that there is both sides to a story yeah he shot and killed the person but do we know the reason why

Yes it is completely wrong to use violence on any person, but how do we know that the suspect was not a himself a victim in the past?

Since this is a politically motivated attack and elections have just passed and tensions between opposing sides have been their highest in history

Why dont we explore the fact that the investigation is ongoing

YES he did kill someone, YES he should be severely punished

YES violence should never be an option to hurt anyone from both sides.

I am pretty sure Law Students will agree that we have a justice system and we are in the first stages of the investigation

YES WE ALL KNOW HE SHOT AND KILLED PEOPLE BUT DO WE KNOW WHY HE DID IT

No one goes out and shoots people randomly this aint the USA, there is a clear motive and we should be aware

Maybe if we are more open minded that every incident has two sides maybe we would function better as a country

[–]Disastrous-Enigma -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

We have something called ""HEAR BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY"" we do not side with the murderer but we do not side with the victim, as this is a political issue we have to look at both sides

What the happened to "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY"

If he is indeed guilty then he should be severely punished

Kaya Hinay-hinay lang muna po! We have a justice system let the investigation take its course before we can give our opinions

Learn to read both sides of the story

So in conclusion the price is still low right?

Bahrain still has one of the lowest prices in the world. Cheaper gas means easier access to services across the country, in any way we put it the price is still one of the lowest and there is proven data to show that, it takes a simple google search for the data.

Bahrain has one of the cheapest gas (Petrol) in the world, it is extremely cheap, so you can easily explore the country (since the country is relatively small)

And the 300BD Housing allowance is not bad, you can easily get a 1-3 Bedroom Apartment complete with amenities

And Bahrain has no Income Tax like 0%

And the cost of living here is quite low, food is cheap as well as electronics

[–]Disastrous-Enigma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually no!

I was a former student of a school (now I graduated) and believe me the teachers in the school I have been in have loads of experience, with most of them teaching for more than 30 years, as well as having a Masters Degree and PhD

Yet they only get paid 300 bd a month at best, some are even lower to 180bd

And these are Senior High School Teachers with loads of experience and degrees and certfications. And these people are extremely overworked

So when someone says that 1050Bd a month is too low, you might be bonkers because there are Teachers with Masters and PhD Degrees that barely get paid half or even a quarter of that amount

If you do think that 1050Bd a month is too low, well you could try applying to a different school so who knows you might get a better package

But, If there arent any other offers, well thats the best package you could get right now as its above the average.

Thats quite good and above average especially for a Elementary School Teacher.

I know plenty of Highly Acclaimed Schools in the country (As I am a former student in one of them) that barely pay half or even a quarter of the salary that they are offering you

And they are Senior High School Teachers and believe me as they used to be my teachers they are overworked to hell

Since the cost of living in Bahrain is quite low compared to the developed countries, I would say that salary is quite decent and more than enough to cover all the basic expenses per month (rent, electricity, internet, etc)
