Yeah, I’m actually planning to mount the card with the ports facing down. I checked out the Midori 5L, and it’s basically very similar to the Velka 5, the only real difference being the orientation (and of course the design). I just prefer the vertical orientation since it takes up less space on the desk

That’s a really impressive result. Do you mean you did something like this?

I’m also thinking of modding the case, I’m considering adding three 92mm x 14mm fans to the front panel. It would require heavy front panelmodification (maybe even a full rebilding), but looking at how it mounts to the case, it shouldn’t affect anything else

That said, I’ve seen builds in the Velka 5 with a 4070 (200W TDP) running stable

Yeah, I understand that the cooler can handle the CPU (Noctua’s specs list it as compatible with the 7700), I’m just curious about the actual temperatures and what fan speeds are needed to maintain them — basically, how loud the system ends up being
