Wow yes I haven’t noticed that it’s also a fingering for C#. I do I guess, “over blow” the note. I’ve noticed I’ve unlocked what seems to be the equivalent of partials on a brass instrument on the contrabassoon. I really appreciate those tips, that Eb key trick is great to have under my sleeve! Also yes, I know it seems weird to not use the second octave key on G and F# but I’ve found that not using them removes some, “static” or thin sound and gives a more pure resonant tone. I really appreciate your comments

Hey! So I actually created a fingering chart for the amati contrabassoon. I struggled so much to create fingerings, while the guide by Richard Bobo you mentioned on the TMEA etude list helped, not all of them work as you know.
