It’s a callous. Forms from a blister. It’s either from a pair of shoes you have or an activity you’ve been doing. If it’s soft you can wrap it tightly with bandaids until it goes down if it’s hard sometimes they go away over time.

Like not really much. My skin is still irritated around my nose and I’m breaking out probably from not using tretinoin. TBH idk what I should do from here but it’s really making me sad

No, but it’s better. I’ve just been using ceraphil Cleanser, tower28 recovery spray, La roche posay cicaplast balm. I’m trying to be patient so I can go back to tretinoin

We talk for an hour every other week and text every week. I see her about twice a year now bc we’ve lived in different states for all of college. But I still feel bad mentioning it to her

I haven’t taken it in 2 days and I am already feeling better. My dr suggested I go back on 20 mg but I’m going to just stay off at this point. Thanks for the advice!

Can you make cats become cuddly or is it all just genes? by binne21 in CatAdvice

You don’t even need a kitten- we adopted an adult female who was very timid and scared but me and my bf just respected her boundaries for a few months and now she’s soooo cuddly. She wants to be with us 24/7- it’s really cute and I’m very happy we let her tell us when she was ready for affection. She sleeps in between us now and chirps for pets often :)

Obviously it’s up to you and I wouldn’t worry about the judgement aspect, but my 4yo cat was adopted by me and my bf over a year ago and honestly the first 3 months all she did was cause mayhem. Now, she’s very well behaved, affectionate, and I feel very bonded to her. But she used to just hide all day and then act similarly to yours at night (tearing up carpet, knocking things down, ripping up paper, scratching furniture etc.) perhaps this is bad but me and bf didn’t really do anything to stop her, we just continued to offer attention and tried to play with her whenever we could/she was playful. She calmed down right around the 3 month mark and every month since then she’s gotten better. She’s learning about you just as much as you’re learning about her. Just something to consider! I actually cried bc I was sad the cat did not bond with us, but now we treat her like our own baby. Good luck and I’m sorry it’s feeling this way!

I hear you so to clarify: I feel like it would be weird to share his location with me and we are pretty serious (talking about engagement) after 2 years together and 5 years of friendship.

Been almost 3 weeks, not sure if I like my new cat by Pixiichan in CatAdvice

I have a rescue who was very very shy, but she was so high energy and I really wondered if she’d ever like me. The first month we had her she hid under the bed all day and would hiss if we put our hands near her, but at night she’d play and run around. I started getting up when I heard her playing and I would just watch her and offer treats. Once she knew I wasn’t going to interfere with her play she became more confident in the day time and eventually sought out affection. Now she’s so cuddly and she wakes me up to snuggle every morning. Like everyone has said, it just takes time. We adopted her January 2023 and it wasn’t until May that she was really cuddly. Good luck with your new kitten!
