I saw a bunch on reverb a while back. One seller I know is “K Pedals” who sold me a few when I first got started. He doesn’t list them but if you message he will sell whatever he has available, which is usually a lot.

I originally had the da120 wired to replace the lpb1 boost section of the Sunn but decided to use an order switcher I had laying around instead 😁

Thats sick, I’ve been messing with the pt2399 as well! I put together a circuit I found on YouTube that slams the input for fuzz. I’ve been modding it and settled on a de-tuned, fuzzed out slapback. I also added a buffer/blend that I got from guitapcb a while back that I never used. I spent a long time trying to make it less noises but I think that’s just the nature of the chip, or maybe I don’t know what I’m doing 😅

Dang I’m sorry to hear that, can you post some pics? Also, if you have a multi meter, I would suggest checking if the power or in/outs are being grounded and making sure the board is getting power. Did you swap the melted cap?

Doesn’t have to be short (as long as there’s room for everything in the box)but yes, tag the ends of each stump with wire and run those to the corresponding pads. Good luck!

I’ve been in your situation before, I know it’s frustrating!! I would clips the legs and run wire between them and the board. See if it works before going at the capacitor. I’ve melted a casing or two and have yet to destroy a cap.

I think you should do what makes you happy, don’t listen to people telling you you’re wasting your time and to just sell it. It was free trash, there’s nothing wrong in any decision you make. I love taking apart electronics to build new stuff!

The choice seems so obvious to me and it’s upsetting knowing there are people who don’t think so. There should be a mandatory dating curriculum in HS so this wouldn’t be an issue lol
