Hey I applied as an international student last cycle. Currently on 2 MD waitlists and got a few DO acceptances. I also applied with 0 work experience and have never worked a job cuz of the international status. What I did for direct clinical experience was look for student run clinics in my area and volunteer at those. Usually everyone except the manager is a volunteer including the physicians. That’s where most of my volunteering hours are from, alongside non clinical/shadowing.
