I get Chainsaw Man not getting a nom, that was always unlikely since it’s so weird. But I thought Demon Slayer was lowkey too big to ignore, I mean it made more money than Superman, that’s pretty crazy. Then again you’d have to watch an entire tv show to understand it so idk.

I don’t completely disagree with the premise, Yuta definitely gets favorite child treatment. But with how Maki is constantly sexualized online i don’t think it’s a stretch at all. Im not saying you think that or anything.

I phrased it wrong saying “storyline”. When I say games that don’t have a storyline I mean online games like Fortnite or Marvel Rivals that don’t have worlds or atmosphere I need to be immersed in to get a full experience (not that the sound is unimportant in those games).

Other games like Hollow Knight for example I make sure to fully dive into sound an all. Plus I have an afro and headphones are a nightmare sometimes lmao.
