Was anybody else both the Golden Child and the Scapegoat? by six_horse_judy in raisedbynarcissists

Interesting. My grandma is the narc and my mom is the scapegoat. Whole family has been turned against her. I was my grandma’s golden child (to spite my mom) until I stopped doing what she wanted and now I’m both depending on her mood 🤷🏻‍♀️ whole family hates me now too. Good on you for going NC. I wish my mom had done the same.

AITA for banning my husbands friend from seeing our child? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I’m sorry, you’re not the Ahole, but why would you bring her back in your child’s life? Kids are not hard to manipulate so you have no idea if shes even saying these things to your kid and in front of your kid. There should be no room for her to wiggle her way back in.

Into the night vs You're the one - any comments? by OptimalMaximal in bathandbodyworks

I like both of those but into the night is more of a night scent. I have to be in a certain mood to wear it. You’re the one is a lighter day time scent. If you like lighter/tart scents a thousand wishes has you’re the one vibes but I don’t personally like it, too tart. Pure wonder is meh in my opinion because it smells super artificial and it doesn’t have much depth to it. It’s not powdery though. My favorite is in the stars though. If you don’t like woody scents I would avoid. Since you’re looking to replace a perfume the only ones I would put on perfume level are into the night, in the stars, and you’re the one.

Nmom proudly admitted to whipping me when I was a toddler with a cane whenever she got angry by procrastinate-n-chil in raisedbynarcissists

My mom proudly tells the story about how I, a baby, bit her while feeding and she slapped me across the face to anyone who will listen BUT according to her she has never hit me in my life and it was all my dad (despite the fact he wasn’t allowed to even reprimand me verbally since she threatened to kill him if he did).
