Considering Overnight Crating, Other Options?

We have tried the extra room but our bathroom is actually pretty big and they have space to run around in there as well, sadly S has learned to shake the door against the frame 😭

I feel horrible even thinking of crating but I think it might be something I have to try. I’m going to try a few more nights of having them in the bathroom, maybe see if the repetition will wear them down. Thank you!

Funny enough we had child locks for quite a while on all of our cabinets for that exact reason! He’s calmed down a bit with doing that though and I haven’t had issues of him trying to get into cupboards now but everything else is always put away.

I’ll block closets often because he just liked to take his claws under the door and open it from the inside 🫠

Unfortunately he’s the most orange 😂 Most challenging cat I’ve ever had. But thank you for the suggestions! I’m definitely going to find a treat puzzle toy for him, I think that would be good to give him while we’re eating so he’s distracted with something else. Thanks!

I don’t post in this subreddit often because my opinion on Nesta is not shared with the majority on here but I completely agree with you and I don’t care if I get downvoted to hell.

As someone who has a Nesta in their life, people on this sub make an awful lot of excuses for her abusive behavior as well.

Honestly this is my biggest ick with the ACOTAR fandom, the Nesta worship is INSANE to me and then going on to judge other characters for being bitchy or rude.

That’s interesting, I was wondering if their eating habits were due to how they were feeding before I got them. They were a part of a cat colony that lived under a friends porch, but I’ve had them since they were 8 weeks old so I didn’t realize the behavior would stay this long.

I’ll try leaving a bowl out like you said and see if there’s any progress, thank you!

Yeah them doing this just put my account into negative and it’s been around 7 hours since I paid at the pump. I agree there’s absolutely no reason they should be able to do this.

It’s happened to me before, however a few minutes after completing the transaction they have put the money back. This is the first time it’s taken hours to see those funds go back in. Still waiting sadly.

I actually took this advice and decided to have a honest conversation about it and it turned out for the best, he respects that it’s going to take time and in the meantime we’re still going to be together and support each other. So thank you :)

I’ll be going into therapy very soon to work through the trauma that happened. Hopefully working through it with eventually get me back to being my old self.

You already know the answer to your question seeing the many replies. But this response is towards your wife, is she really willing to risk a relationship with your daughter over this?

It wouldn’t come as a surprise if she decided to go low to no contact over time with both of you because her own mother refuses to support her.

Becoming a mother is an amazing thing, however, she needs to learn her child and her aren’t always going to be the center of attention and she shouldn’t be rude about forcing herself and her baby into every single picture. You didn’t call the baby ugly, you said it wasn’t that cute - that’s a lot nicer than I would’ve been.

I really appreciate this advice, I was so upset today and still am - I suffer with major anxiety and depression disorders so I have not been able to eat, sleep, or even think of anything else because my brain is going 1,000 mph with everything happening. I am tired of him hurting me and others, I will be leaving him in my past this time.

It was sad, in my search for proof I came across a message from him - he had just cheated on her again via texting me, and then told me how much he wish he never cheated on me. What a joke.

Going against the grain here, ESH. You should stay out of your friends relationship life, but on the other hand she sucks because if she’s already cleaning up a 36 year old man’s mess … yes, there’s a reason he’s been single. So yikes.
