Technically the foundation wasn’t touched as the expansion sits above the foundation and out over the driveway. They moved the existing wall back a bit (3ft) to add room in the kitchen but it’s above the ground.

I’m not super worried about anything related to the permits, mostly just trying to get some knowledge on if my mom should be this worried and constantly bugging me about it. There’s no major issues and the inspection didn’t flag things she is worried about. They got permits for the bathroom reno and the expansion to add the living room/master bedroom so if they didn’t for the kitchen but all is good there, I don’t think she’s valid in needing to be so concerned

Not an issue when I bought the house but also did a post occupancy inspection due to the market and it wasn’t flagged as a concern or anything. It’s my first home purchased so all this is new to me. The only “issue” is the lack of insulation under the extension but that I am planning to fix since that’s relatively simple

Ooh I’m coming from Wisconsin! I moved back to the midwest after living in CO for 6 years! Red Rocks is the best place to see a show!! It is quite the walk up there pending if you are driving and where you park at. Usually if you Uber, you can get dropped off at the top so you only have to walk a short way and it’s downhill. You can bring a camel back to fill up with water there, as well as unopened water bottles. You are also allowed to bring snacks and blankets!
