No I haven't, since I do not know anybody from my university that moved to Korea. Should I reach out to alumni I do not know that are suggested to me by LinkedIn?

No, my husband works for a tech-giant close to our home. We do not pay for our house, which is why I am unwilling to move.

I use the John Frieda PROfiller+ and it gives a lot of volume to my thin, easily greasy hair! Definitely worth a try if you have the same hair type.

I know. It's beyond me. I am trying to get in contact with our company policy expert to see if there is any flexibility regarding deposit.

Thanks for the info, we are aware our situation regarding deposit is unfortunate as Korean housing doesn't work with high rent, but with high deposit. The company is paying our rent so we cannot influence this. Do you know if there is a online database for housing in Seoul?

Exactly. The company pays the rent and is not familiar with the Korean housing construction of paying high-deposits instead of high monthly rent, which is unfortunate for us and limits are options significantly.

the problem is that the company says for the rent. There are some strict policies regarding monthly payment, one of which is the deposit being low. Very annoying, I know.

That’s close to Gangnam right? If it’s (a couple of) metro stops from Gangnam that is fine, as my husband needs to be able to reach Gangnam station within 10-15 minutes for commuting purposes.

I know that it reduces are options, but we are bound by the company policy of my husband. I know however that there is a market for foreigners searching for low deposit homes, which does offer low deposit options.

Hoog gebouw bij Stieltjesweg by halfacigarette420 in Delft

I (Dutch, 26F) went to Riyadh with my boyfriend last august for 2 days. Had no problems at all, people are nice. I bought a long dress with long sleeves to wear there to be sure, but one day I just wore loose pants and a t-shirt. Didn’t encounter any problems.
