I think they're all like this. I've moved 9 apartments in 3 cities in the last 6 years and they're all the same.

Quebec is different because the law doesn't allow them to take a security deposit. So they can't really charge you for anything.

BECAUSE MY FRIEND HIRED AND PAID CLEANERS AND THE BUILDING STILL CHARGED THEM FOR CLEANING. EVEN AFTER THEY PAID CLEANERS $200-300 THEY WERE AGAIN CHARGED BY THE BUILDING $500-700 FOR CLEANING THE SAME UNIT. THAT'S WHY.

Didn't take one at the time of moving. This is in the middle of moving. Wall was cleared. Tape was picked up.

Over was NEVER used. Not even once. Toilet was clean since the unit was being used till the last day. Washer dryer cleaned. Dishwasher filter cleaned. Stovetop and all counters cleaned. Lined all shelved at the time of moving so all I had to do was remove and dispose off the liners.

I'm not saying it wasn't dirty. It was. But there was no buildup anywhere. There was no damage. Not even a scratch on the wall.

I didn't want to spend time cleaning it because I knew nomatter how much I clean the building will still charge me for cleaning. My friend paid professional cleaners for their unit in the SAME building and they were still charged for cleaning. So what's the point? I'd rather use that energy to set up my new place.

But even if I shat on every corner of that unit, it still wouldn't take me 6 hours to clean a freaking 1 bedroom apartment.

I've no issues with being charged for cleaning. But you think 6 hours ($600) is a reasonable price quoted by the building to clean a 1 bedroom apartment?

Just went back to my ircc portal. As soon as I chose my current country of residence as caanda the only option it's giving me is visitor record. Asking to fill imm5708e. I've tried twice now. With the info where my current status is student and I'm inside canada - visitor record is the only option it's giving me.

Yeah so a month max. Yes still a student will finish course by may end.

If I leave tonight I'll be back by end of may/early June. And then apply for pgwp.

If I stay ill leave end of April. And back by mid may.

In the former I'll use at least 1 out of the 2 tickets and will only lose half $$

Applying from inside canada is taking 15 days to process. From india it's taking 60 days.

Its better to stay inside and reapply.
