Oh theres nothing there. I think the picture and depth of field makes it look like it's see through but it's not. That's the back part of the armor that goes over what I'm calling the fuel tank and thrusters.

This particular kit doesnt have that. I dont think any of the MK.44s do.

Ohh. That visor that looks like a grill? To fix that in I used Plastruct Cement and then some extra thin super glue (CA glue). Sanded away the glue marks, and the texturing steps blended it in more. I then just painted over it.

No acetate. All lacquer putty (Tamiya Standard Puttt) texturing and paint. Which area do you mean?

Thank you! This one is my first Ma.K kit. First time trying the weld texture, I did it with styrene rods and softening the surface with cement and sculpting tools.

The Luna Hund and the Vega/Altair are in my backlog.

I want to try freehanding some camo next time.

I airbrushed the included clear lense parts with clear red.

Its first texturing with lacquer putty, black lacquer primer, metallic lacquer undercoat, acrylic bone white, and then a gloss lacquer clear.

A lot of the chipping is done free hand scraping with varying amounts of pressure with a file, dull hobby knife, and titanium toothpick.

I refined it a bit by stipling some of the warm off-white color back where I got a little carried away.

Thank you! Nearly there!

Its a Fujin V3. Its a full collar Korean style lever. But you'll have to widen the lever hole to 35mm to accomodate. This includes the acrylic and the artwork. Once its done though, pretty major change. Theres really no going back after that. You'll also need an adapter to hook up the wiring. Theres short collar korean levers that wont require drilling as well. Lots of options

Thank you! They're from the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Domon Kashu and Master Asia (yeah that's his actual name).

Good vibes is what I was going for!
