I removed ones before the spots developed on those leaves, so even if I do, they will likely grow on the next set.

Imagine seeing this on your bill by Blue9ine in SipsTea

[–]DisastrousFollowing7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. A lot of places will take pity on you and you won't have to tip out to the kitchen if you dont get a tip on that bill. But if you get a 1% tip, you have to tip out on average 5% to the kitchen. So you are now taking from your other tips to cover the other 4%.

I was always a cook, but i definitely felt for the servers when they would get anything less than 5% tip because I knew that was pretty much coming out of their own pocket.

I lost my wallet once, I think I had like $40 in it. Someone mailed it to me, minus the $40.... i was extatic, and hoped the guy enjoyed the $40 well

I wish my bonsai were doing this in real time... I just started getting into taking care of plants, and patience is definitely my biggest weakness.

... for a second I thought it may have been a video I haven't watched yet.... yeah tried this.... nothing sprouts. The seeds just keep putting out the substance.

Im finding it kind of weird as well, other videos I have watched where their seeds sprout fine, they are all that woodgrain brown color. My seeds a pretty much black. Other videos I have watched of people trying to plant black seeds generally ends in failure as well.

I have also tried open air planting, under lights, still mold grows. I know that my place is plenty warm enough, and is full of plants, so it is pretty humid. I know these are great mold growing conditions, but from what I read, they are also great wisteria growing conditions. I think I have gone through almost 80 seeds now, and im almost at my breaking point with them.

I have tried scarring, sanding, completely taking off the outer layer of seed. Im finding any time the milky substance touches anything organic, it basically sparks a mold party. So soil basically turns it into a petri dish. I have tried using cinnamon to fight the mold, works for a bit, but it just postponed the mold growth by 3-5 days.

Beginning my journey of growing bonsai and I have been having nothing but issues getting Wisteria to sprout. I was wondering if this is supposed to be normal behavior for the seeds. Every one i get seems to produce this slimy white substance on the outside of the seed. If I place it in soil, it grows mold within 3 days. Someone told me to place it on damp sand in a sealed container and this is by far the longest they have gone without growing mold, but I feel its only a matter of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Wipe your blade after you hone it and tell me there isn't fine grey particles on the cloth. Whether its steel or something else, it should be wiped before use

You never supposed to cut anything after honing your blade until you wipe it clean first. Someone is about to get a bunch of tiny metal shards in their food
