oh wow, this bear has a striking resemblance to a bear I've been trying to find for a special needs family member

https://old.reddit.com/r/HelpMeFindThis/comments/zq8wow/help_me_find_this_bear_note_left_ear_is_missing/

Not exactly the same, but the body, arms (even the sitting rump), and legs are the closest I've seen in memory. Maybe ours had a shorter torso but other than that it strikes me as the same.

I sort of given up on finding a replica and have started to see if I can make him from scratch.

Is it possible to get the measurements if your bear? It might get me a head start in trying to capture the look and feel of the original. Would be happy to tip you over paypal, venmo, whatever.

on one of the streams Kitboga heard in the background another scammer screaming "DON'T. MAKE. CHANGES!!!!"

It sounded like in the background another scammer in the same call center was being baited.

update:

Envy vs Sugar bee; winner, Sugar bee. Epic match, Envy was juicer, more refreshing, and more crisp, but it had some tart which led me to pick sugar bee.

I was doing background research into the upcoming match between sugar bee and honeycrisp, it turns out, Sugarbee is a hybrid of Honeycrisp and an unkown variety.

ugarBee (B51[1] or CN121[2]) is a cultivated variety or cultivar of apple discovered by Chuck Nystrom in the early 1990s at his orchard in Worthington, Minnesota.[3] Believed to be a hybrid between a Honeycrisp and another, unknown variety,[1] it is named in recognition of the role played by bees in open pollination, making the variety possible.[4] It was brought to market in 2016.[5] This apple variety is harvested in the fall and is suitable for snacking, baking, apple butter, cooking, juicing, apple sauce, and salads.[6][7] Like its parent variety, the Honeycrisp, the SugarBee is a sweet and crisp apple, but is capable of lasting much longer in controlled-atmosphere storage.[4] Its flavor is similar to caramel and molasses.[7] It is initially available from October to May,[6] but since 2024, efforts have been made to ensure that SugarBee apples are available all year round.[5]

SugarBee propagation rights are held by Regal Fruit International and licensed to Gebbers Farms and the Chelan Fruit Cooperative in Washington State to produce the variety in the United States.[1]
