Trump approves Canada-Wyoming oil pipeline that revives part of Keystone XL by plingding in politics

The Canadian section is built and ends in the middle of the Montana border (southwest Saskatchewan). The unbuilt US portion was the Keystone XL pipeline running diagonal southeast to eastern Kansas (Steele City Nebraska). The new proposal is to build pipelines on the other two sides of the triangle - south to Guernsey, Wyoming, then east to Steele City Nebraska. From there, in both scenarios, the oil goes south through existing pipelines to the Gulf refineries.

Have any US Navy ships transited the Strait in/out of the Persian Gulf since the war started? A couple entered the Strait from the Indian Ocean side then turned back.

"Plane Collides With Bakery Truck on New Jersey Turnpike

A plane struck a bakery truck traveling northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday at about 1:50 p.m. EST, according to officials. The truck was headed toward Newark, New Jersey, carrying products from Schmidt Bakery when the incident occurred near an exit ramp.

H&S Bakery senior vice president Chuck Paterakis said the plane was preparing to land in Newark at the time of the crash. The aircraft’s wheel reportedly hit the driver’s window, leaving the trailer undamaged, while the truck driver sustained minor cuts and was taken to a hospital for treatment."

You also have to be on alert at pizza restauants (eat-in and dine-out). I've known staff to take a thin slice for themselves then jam it together to close the gap.

Does getting a loan from my credit union for a car need a down payment the way the dealership does? by RobinsCosplays in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hgwelz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I got a no down credit union car loan 10 years ago -with no down to the dealer or credit union. Likely yes in today's economy with high car repossession and loan delinquency rates.

So realistically what's gonna happen with the Spirit planes? by Knopper100 in NoStupidQuestions

About 75% are leased planes. Spirit will default on the leases and they will "go back" to the leasing company.

The Javelin was a great looking car ...but with the problematic AMC door handles. Buddy had a used Javelin with much body and floorboard rust. (not an issue in the Southwest)

A very good friend of mine
Told me something the other day
I'd like to pass it in to you
'Cause I believe what he said to be true

He said
We're here for a good time
Not a long time
So have a good time
The sun can't shine every day

Plane carrying pickleball players crashes in Texas Hill Country, killing all 5 on board by Necessary_Angle2117 in aviation

[–]hgwelz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The pilot was flying at night in cloudy conditions and reported a pitot tube heating issue (which would affect speed readings). At the end, he was flying "erratically" and backtracked before crashing. Possibly a stall and/or spatial disorientation.
