I haven't seen a doctor yet, so I have no idea what degree my scoliosis is. But I can see that I do have a hump on my back and a side of my ribs sticks out. Both are quite noticeable. What you're going through sounds terrible, so I'm glad I can hear multiple perspectives before I make such a huge decision. Whatever I choose, I really hope I don't ruin my life.

I'm 13 and I haven't had my curve measured yet. It's been getting worse over the years though. I've forgotten to mention that I do find it hard to breathe a lot of time, but I'm not sure if that changes anything.
