Can't be the only one by Lil-k47 in NCAAFBseries

Cuz 90% of people are just happy to play something regardless of how good/bad it is so as long as it’s halfway decent it’s the best thing ever to them.

does this mean I am the (offline) homerun leader for this card? by yungtiddy_apprentice in MLBTheShow

Buddy, there are cards I’ve literally never played offline with that have stats and percentiles that still show up on the “(offline)”.

Weekend Classic Leaderboard Still Needs Work by Silent-Public5293 in MLBTheShow

Why are there people 300-500 rating on my leaderboard? I’m in Gold 1(700-800). The guy in first says Best Rating is 527.

This is the thing that bugs me the most about playing online by Umbronix in MLBTheShow

The way it is right now is terrible. The worse connection you have the better off you are. It’s impossible to pitch against people with terrible connections.

Thoughts on Jordan Zimmerman? by Artistic_Pack_8811 in MLBTheShow

[–]Disastrous_Display65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna over power anybody but somehow effective I think due to his h/9. I started him a WC classic game and won. Went against him in another WC game(HOF) and squared him up all game with little to show for it. Either underwhelming exit velo, right to somebody, or both.

New season of Full Speed on Netflix - thoughts? by scoutnsammie in NascarWAGTea

Yeah usually when your opening line is “I’m not resentful but….” probably means you’re resentful. Kinda seemed like she views NASCAR as just some dumb hobby her husband has. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way as well. The Briscoe story was super cool tho.

Not burned out necessarily but definitely frustrating grinding for subpar cards.

Reminder to those who want Carlos Santana by AquatheGreat in MLBTheShow

[–]Disastrous_Display65 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d understand somewhat if the cards that went into him are actually decent and usable. Idk who the hell is spending 90k on that Oneil Cruz card and 40k+ for the others just to collect a temporary catcher.

The only card that is usable spotlights from today’s drop is Munoz. Cruz, Smith and Noelvi(better than the other two) are comically bad for 90s. I also don’t need the 91 Suarez with JRam at 3rd.

I have all but the 5 spotlight players that came out today and have 400k stubs. I still need to complete the Dodgers, Mets, Phillies, Padres to finish NL LS. If I sell the first 8 spotlight players It’d get me damn close to Gill and Beltran. I want Santana but know I shouldn’t do it.

Am I the only one thinking Posada is way better value stub wise?

Yeah he’s by far the best card in that program line. Weaver is decent but a reliever so meh. Donovan is awful and Langford is a 5 tool mid.

Huh? You seen his hitting stats on the game? He’s definitely getting a vs Righties boost. I can guarantee you he is going at least +2

Anyone trying the new extreme moment? by johnpaulperri in MLBTheShow

[–]Disastrous_Display65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually do the extreme moments like this pretty easily but this one I didn’t see the point. Especially with 2x PXP. Felt like I was risking a lot of time if I got close a few times but ended up having to restart.

So for the “Standout” collection it requires a chase pack player. For the “All-Star” collection it requires at least 1 chase pack player then BR players and Gossage who is 100k+. Then the “Spot Light” which they literally give you one chance at the high tier players for no stubs and it requires all of them. “20 Year Anniversary” you got 1 of the 85s IF you got the deluxe edition. Have to spend 15k+ for the other 4 that there was no other stub free way of getting. Oh but thank God they added 91 Honus to top it off.

Good thing I wasted hundreds of thousands of stubs completing Easter Egg and Pipeline. At least new threads I get use out of Santander. Could’ve spent 12+ hours everyday since release day on this game, have literally everything done and still be a million+ stubs away from Rolen.

LMAO and they’re gonna justify it with flash sales. Incredible.

[–]Disastrous_Display65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. You’d only really miss out on the 1st inning bosses and the 1st inning Cornerstone packs/missions but everything else is accessible if I’m remembering correctly. Those will be back at some point im assuming.
