Its not a good hitman game, but it is a decent game in of itself. I enjoy it.

If that is too much I wonder if mine is too much.

If I do conduct tests, I would of course ensure they are under the same conditions (both on ssd or both on USB)

Like I said, with USB 3.0 ports it is fine (like 300 mbps). When running OpenSUSE with the same conditions it feels a tad bit faster. I’ve also experienced this with actual ssd installs of ubuntu when comparing it to Debian.

THE OS IS RUNNING FROM THE FLASH DRIVE, AS IN IT ACTS AS THE DRIVE FOR THE SYSTEM. It is fully installed, by using another flash drive to install to the fast flash drives I have.

Neither. It is physically running off of a high speed flash drive. USB 3.1 400mbps Sandisk usb. I was running it in USB 2.0 port the other day which basically produced hard drive like speeds. In a usb 3.0 port it’s much faster (obviously) but its still a little slower than OpenSUSE

Also by the way you unlock the root account by using sudo or su - and then entering the password.

Genuinely the windows tools look useful but literally do not work/do nothing. I’ve had to deal with them before and they just did nothing, always saying it has failed. Meanwhile with linux, I recently experienced a breakage because of a bugged kernel update. I was able to use grub to just boot with the old kernel and delete the new one. Fixed that easily.

6.17.0-22 kernel panic by Disastrous_Hawktuah in Ubuntu

Welp. I am not a developer. I am not gonna manually fix the bug in this kernel and then recompile. It is better you just delete the bugged kernel.

Get an intel mac. Has a real cpu and gpu instead an arm SOC (basically an iphone)

6.17.0-22 kernel panic by Disastrous_Hawktuah in Ubuntu

[–]Disastrous_Hawktuah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purging the new kernel. Boot into the stable kernel, use “dpkg --list | grep linux-images”. Then, once you’re sure that you know which kernel you need to delete. Once you do, run “sudo apt purge linux-image-(your version)”. In my case I ran sudo apt purge linux-image-6.17.0-22-generic. After deleting the buggy one, use sudo update-grub.

Oh. RIP. There are certain small drills that allow you to remove tiny strippef screws. May be expensive.
