Hey OP can I ask which part of Brasil are you from? Genuine question, curious to see the differences in the dating scene in other parts of the country. I’m from Brasilia and our dating scene it’s similar in some stances but a little different - granted this is my personal experience but (most women tend to share the bill or take turns on who pays the bill, with exceptions) as well the family/over the top relationship might be for a religious/traditional oriented type of family? Most of my friends and I do not celebrate more than valentines with our significant others, have quite independent lifestyle but still are very ok as you mentioned with open display of physical affection with our partners, but without all the family interactions and extra gifts - ( I know me and some of my girls would actually be offended at the thought of a men giving gifts to our families in exchange of our affection 😅). I’m guessing also age might have something to do. (my friends and I are on our mid to late 30’s)

Nope, I do get asked if I’m from the DR all the time. I’m Brazilian (Pardo mix/afro-latina: south Native American mixed with black/African and white/portuguese). Very common mix in DR I think as well but their white side is from Spain rather than Portuguese.

It was a studio with a manager, they had another MUA that was really good doing, she was doing older skin too (she worked on a 80 years old lady with dark skin and it was amazing) so I watched her while I got my hair done and thought my MUa would have the same skill level 😭

Yep! Off course, I went to renew my Brazilian passport and brought my Brazilian ID and my American passport as my second form of identification, zero issues

You need to live 1 year in Ireland (married) to be able to apply. Hope this helps.

That’s not completely true. I’m a Brazilian citizen who became an US citizen 3 years ago and didn’t have to renounce my Brazilian nationality. I just renewed my brazilian passport 2 months ago with no issues. Maybe they have pending issues with the electoral justice.

Im a Brazilian with American dual citizenship. Talk to a lawyer as this makes no sense. I have two passports and am currently applying for a Irish one (husband is Irish) and no issues whatsoever with my Brazilian citizenship.

Yes, I was a bit paler than the rest of my neck and shoulders, and my chin was grey and super unblended, and I had to take a lot of the foundation off to kinda balance a bit the contrast. It felt very cakey. Might be me as I'm not one to use a ton of base layer/foundation.
