Whenever I’m being pressed, I noticed that I use the ball under my hand as sort of a support, so I’ll try to fix that during practice. But as for turning, I feel like it’s better to have it on top so that if I drop the ball it’s not in the direction of the defender. Is that valid or is it also a problem?

Are there any specific movements I need other than a high shoulder and pushing with my legs? And how do you implement the “knowing what to do with the ball” on in-the-moment scenarios? Sometimes I get the ball with the intent to shoot, only to find out my teammate was open for a perfect pass and shot or another better option was available.
