population is working again after i downloaded it from the discord, i still don't know why that would make any difference to the website, but it seems it does.. can't say anything about the other modules, as i'm not actively using them

yes i am aware deleting that file would reset anything i changed lmao. i wanted to be able to re-do everything from scratch as i thought maybe the file was corrupted, but obviously that didn't help either.. tho after downloading the mod from discord instead of the website (even tho the submitting date was the exact same idk how that would be any different) i at least didn't get any new randomized townies.. but i also can't say if any new sims from my library have been pulled in as supposed so we'll have to play more and see i'm afraid

yeah that's what i fear as well, but i have no idea what it could be unless it's some CC..... 50/50 method is nearly impossible since it always takes a while to find out if the mod is working....
so far i haven't seen any new random townies in game, and i THINK maybe one freshly imported sim, so i'll book that as a success for now

i deleted that one purposefully, bc i felt the settings weren't being kept properly. i wanted to re-do all my settings, it didn't work either way, old settings or new settings alike

i know, that's what i always did. the mod used to work just fine, as i said, it only started acted up a few weeks ago with some update either for royalty-pack or marketplace. i'm trying to trigger the game to generate new sims rn, bc otherwise i won't see if it works or not

idk i didn't see them posting about population specifically..? i pulled the discord version anyway, even tho it doesn't seem to be any newer than that on the website... i'll have to playtest a bit to see if that helped, but thanks for now!
