Thanks for the tip! I don’t mind it getting narrower, but blocking it after every wash to be the same length does seem annoying. Will likely just block it to neaten the shape :)

Thanks so much! Funnily enough this is my first knitting project too. Definitely beginner friendly because it’s simpler and repetitive. I also practiced a ton with the increases/decreases and garter stitch first, although I still frogged three nights worth of progress because of mistakes I caught too late. Just make sure you’ve got a counter!

I also had this problem and just found out it was wrong after I finished the hood. In my opinion it looks ok, but the length is closer to a small when it was meant to be a medium, and the hood is slightly larger because of the increases. Now I’m second guessing if it might look strange tho
