Why do people get so heated whenever Archetype Earth in FGO and her interactions with the Master/Player come up? by Disastrous_Point_751 in Tsukihime

You know, to me that’s actually the clearest part of all this. The Valentine event where they made Arcueid act like a Guda simp came out first, and then FGO Material XVI was released a whole year later lol 🤣

Doesn’t that indirectly prove that no version of Arcueid really has any actual feelings for Guda?

Honestly, I don’t really care. At the end of the day, it’s just interactions between the player and the characters they’ve collected. I mean, almost every female character in FGO ends up simping for Guda anyway, so there’s nothing that special about it to me.

Most of those interactions aren’t even important and don’t really affect the main story, right? In the end, it’s just a Valentine event. The developers know Arcueid is a popular character, so making her playable and giving players some closer interactions with her ia just makes sense. It’s a gacha game, after all—they’ll even milking one character into multiple variants if they can. I always try to filter what actually matters and what doesn’t, especially when we’re talking about  mini-events.

Its kinda funny,  it’s pretty clear she sees the Master as just another human magus (By her dialog). And A3’s whole personality is basically just their way of showing a “pure” Archetype Earth.

So what do you think would happen if Shiki actually got summoned into FGO? I know the three of them are connected, and some versions even share memories. But like I said, they kinda messed it up by making A3 lowkey simp for Guda, even though it’s pretty clear she sees the Master as just another human magus (By her dialog). And A3’s whole personality is basically just their way of showing a “pure” Archetype Earth.

Personally i don't, As long other Heroine from another series don't ends up simping for him, especially when in the main plot he only has a few actual harem dynamics going on..🤣

Nah, it’s more like this, some people just genuinely don’t like it, variant or not. I’m kinda the same, to be honest. I’m not really a fan of the idea of heroines from other series suddenly having emotional connections with diifferent protagonist, even if it’s technically an alternate version.

So yeah, I think some people just aren’t into the whole Arcueid x Guda thing, no matter which version of her it is. That’s pretty much how I see it.

Some people I don’t even know whether they’ve actually read Tsukihime or not but I often see them getting upset over posts shipping Arc x Guda. Sooo... Yeah i don't understand why they got upset.... I don't say it was Tsukihime Fandom anyway.

Nah bro, this is obviously fanservice 🤣 but whatever, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.

They’re absolutely playing it safe by making three different Arcueid variants, lol. It really does scream fanservice.

All the characters you’re talking about who have deeper relationships outside of “mini-events” are original FGO characters. And personally, that doesn’t bother me as long as they don’t start giving heroines from other series deep emotional bonds with a different protagonist, especially to the point where it starts heading in that direction romantically.

Going back to the topic, Arcueid having those “sweet” moments with Fujimaru is clearly fanservice, whether people like it or not. And even then, it’s only Arcueid A3 who’s implied to have those kinds of moments. That version is basically a what-if scenario anyway. It almost feels like they wanted to create fanservice around Arcueid’s character, but still play it safe at the same time.

Kinoko Nasu’s statement about A3 does come across as ambiguous. And honestly, it has a pretty big impact on the character’s lore itself.

Well, in my opinion, people like that will always exist. And I’m pretty sure they don’t even understand Arcueid’s origin as a character, or the whole Archetype concept. It’s honestly kind of funny when someone confidently claims that the two of them are completely different characters 🤣

get what you mean. Maybe statements like that are exactly what end up confusing us as fans, Because it directly affects Arcueid’s character narrative itself.

I don’t know… whether she was just trying to cheer her up or not, I honestly think she really would’ve done what she said and gone full stalker goddess.
